MEET THE TEAM
Brian Jones
A proud University of Texas graduate who bleeds Burnt Orange, Brian proudly served his community through a decorated law enforcement career spanning over 25 years. His roles included police officer, detective, hostage negotiator, and other leadership positions before retiring as a Chief of Police. Throughout his career, he made it a priority to strengthen every team he joined and make the community he served safer.
Brian and Chris Bell were fraternity pledge brothers and have remained great friends and brothers ever since. Brian considers Chris his “coolest” pledge brother—a distinction Chris was happy to put in writing.
Brian was recognized in February 2026 with a Lifetime Public Service Award during the Phi Kappa Psi Founders Day Banquet in front of 200+ current and former fraternity brothers. Chris was honored to present this prestigious award and share a few words about Brian’s lifelong dedication to serving his community and the public. Brian’s commitment to public service is unquestionable.
Brian is also a devoted father and provider for his family. His two sons are both in high school, and he makes it a priority to be present in their lives.
At BellNBiz, Brian oversees day-to-day property operations, maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and improvements. He puts his handyman skills to work on upgrades that make the homes more comfortable, functional, and ready for guests. His approach is hands-on: spot the problem, organize the solution, and get it done. His experience leading teams carries into property care: clear priorities, diligence, and taking responsibility for getting the job done.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys hunting, golfing, and following Longhorn athletics, where Championship Expectations and a higher level of service are the standard. He especially enjoys cheering on his sons.
Brian’s older son, Brody, started his own business in high school and is on track to graduate with honors in May 2027; his younger son, Brandon, is a student-athlete with a passion for football and delivering big hits on defense.
Brian’s special talent is finding any excuse to enjoy an ice-cold beer—or six—with friends or family. He especially enjoys sharing stories of his late grandfather, who helped raise him and was an enormous influence on the man Brian has become. Buy him a couple of beers, sit back, and let him talk. You’ll hear some funny stories and be thoroughly entertained.
Disclaimer: BellNBiz is not responsible if “one quick story” makes you two hours late for dinner, your next event, or the rest of your life. Brian considers your continued presence permission to start another.
